Hello everyone,

How do you get google to crawl links you built to your site? I have recently had some guest post/niche edits done for my blog but I am unsure if I should just let them sit and have google find them randomly or if I should do something to get google to crawl those pages to get google to see my links.

Thanks.

The best way is to wait some days. Google will automatically reindex them and find your backlinks.
But, If you want to do something, do some social share.

^^ No don't do this, it will delay anything.

Just go to your Search console, and click your property then search the URL you want Google to Crawl on the Search Console Search bar. Once it shows its not indexed yet, you just click a button that says Request Indexing and boom its done

Do you do this with external backlinks linking to your site? Like guest posts and what not Is what I’m getting at.

No, but the site owner does or they have ot wait for google to recrawl the sitemap

Indexing backlinks is the important problem in off-site SEO.
The recommendation method is doing social shares for those backlinks. I recommend you to read Neil Patel's article about indexing backlinks.
What I use most is somehow blackhat method - I create posts with my backlinks on large traffic forums, the post itself being indexed in 1~2 days, and then the backlinks also being indexed in 1 day.

If those guest posts don't get indexed within 2-3 days then those posts are of very low quality and you wasted your money.

As others have mentioned, you shouldn't have to do anything to get your guest posts indexed.

Are comments on people's blogs with links still working to generate traffic?

I do this 20 posts per day.

But traffic progress is very low.
Or maybe the blog traffic I comment on is low?

you should sit back and wait for google to crawl automatically. it takes some time to crawl among all these pages on the internet! if they still doesn't show up, you need to get some quality backlinks and contents.

Best way is to use "Request indexing" tool in url inspection section of Google search console.
Also see if your sitemap shows the updated date and time as well for the pages, posts and categories in it. If yes that will help you as well. Also make sure that you have submitted site map in search console.

In the end if nothing works, make some backlinks pointing to the said page. Google will find it.

Thanks
