Hello,

I'd like to share with my fellow bhw members a recent finding.
This is the latest quality guideline I came to find, it's from March 2013.

What's in this PDF and who uses it ?

This is a guide that is sent to Google Quality raters who are checking google serp and rate the results it returns.

If you're looking to build a long-term website this guide might help you in knowing what the quality raters are using to judge your website.

I don't know if they use it for the manual penalty but there you go I hope it will be helpful for some of you .

Just scanned through the document - epic share!
Although a lot of information is floating around, this pdf just tells us exactly how the manual evaluation works. This in turn gives us an indication of how the automatic evaluation in g's eyes should perform. We just have to read between the lines. Thanks, +rep.

As you said, this give a really good insight on how google employees will evaluate your website when doing a manual review. But also it gives an idea about the expected result for some keywords, which can tell you how to focus your content on your website for a particular keyword, but also when link buidling.

It's a big Pdf but I think that it contains very useful information.

It's a lot to sift through, but after that you can apply what is being mentioned indirectly for sure.

I think it's meant for google employees. It looks like a manual for training and how to asses websites and what to look for. Well done op!
