What reason would anyone have to scrape their own contacts using an app? Why not download directly from Google?

The app is not signed, and requires that you enter your credentials unencrypted.

True. Why would this be needed, its very easy to export manually?

Its just a handy tool I needed to scrape my thousands of contact. I thought might be useful for you. But Any way...
