I have a source for 61k auto approve blogs(not all are WP), unmonitored message boards and guest books, I have gone through 300 so far and most of the blogs are still auto approve.
I'll pass it a long to you if you want, I just need first dibs on the results. And you have to keep posting the resulting lists here.

I don't know if this would be too much to ask or if you would prefer not to, but how do you find the auto approve blogs? Really the only way I know is to post tons of comments then immediately check if they're on the blog, but that's not targeted searching for auto approve. Thanks!
