As of now, I like to use Replicon for time recording, it is very easy to use and it integrates with quickbooks, which is a huge plus. With a lot of unique features like easy upload of timesheet approval copy, multiple expense submission, recurring invoices. And the dashboard is really powerful for time analysis purpose.

It is specially designed for mac, pc and iphone users that automatically monitors the time and tracks your projects without the hassle of manual entry. I found it to be much better than traditional stopwatch apps and other free tools.

How about try Trello, MilkMyCow, Todoist they are also very good tools
