Well links in the comments of wordpress are nofollow and the pr usually is lower than this, ex. backlinks selled here that uses scrapebox or similar soft.
Although no one knows the criteria how google sees it. Here is my understanding about backlinks.
You should have a good balance between related and non related content. Similarly maintain a balance in follow and no follow links along with just the url back to money site without any keyword.

I get that a lot. And there's only 1 thing I say: the high PR Facebook links are nofollow, too.
Yeah, but only Rand Fishkin would care about that (and the other so-called believers).

Does anyone have experience with how heavily moderated these sites are? Would it be possible to make the links invisble by removing the underline or changing the colour perhaps?
I don't think there's a way to tell if they are heavily moderated or not...maybe check when was the last time it was updated?
As for making the links invisible, I doubt it. Someone prove me wrong
Here an example of how you should absolutely not do it cause you will mess it up for the rest of us. Wanted to post a link but again not possible ofcourse, anyway, someone put on the bottom of the page of a PR3 wikispace the anchor txt tinitus miracle, some scammy clickbank products, it's a shame people don't realize that they are killing the methods in such way, anchor txt is nice but not nescessasry, to explain, yesterday I bought a Livejournal account that was expired for $15,- it was PR4 and no-follow. I put a link to my money site and 7 individual pages are all at page1 for easy keywords. Why? Cause of all the PR juice that flows through the whole site, and when you use internal linking and the correct anchors on your website then these will help you to rank for these phrases.
So please people, just take a random word if you can't find your keyword and be happy with the juice instead of destroying a solid method by spamming these pages.

Always a fun way to get links, but the biggest problem is that
its a brutal game of cat and mouse.
You tend to get a lot of overzealous and immature people that
come in and remove ALL the text and simply add in their link.
That ruins it as the webmasters will lock down the sites, and
other users that had their links placed will come back in and do
the same thing.

You know what I do when a page is overspammed? I help the webmaster by removing these links and add only 1 link of myself
