I think you need .NET framework 4.0 (not on my pc at the moment) but if you download the latest it should be backwards compatible

Oops! It won't install the latest 4.5 .NET version - will your software work with an older version?

Thanks so much for all your trouble and for pointing me in the right direction. I downloaded .NET 4 successfully but email scraper still won't load. It has a different message now. When I double-click the .exe file it says Fatal Error. CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate.

Bummer!

Bummer!

Really strange maybe a problem with XP? I will try to recompile to an older version of the .NET framework and if possible will sent you a new link to try.

Thanks so much for all your trouble, but I'm afraid it still doesn't work. It now throws up the previous message - it has encountered a problem and needs to close and send a report to windows. Inside the report it says, amongst other things,

This is a great tool! Thank you so much for doing it. One question or suggestion: I think mine is locking up because my proxies require a username and password to access them. Perhaps the ability to enter these if they are needed? Thanks!!
