That will depend on your prior backlinking. These shouldn't have a negative effect on a site with other high quality links built to it, however, as I mentioned in the OP, use at your own discretion.

I honestly am very scared of free links nowadays especially after the Penguin. In some cases, I believe, fewer is better.

These links don't scare because they are very natural links. Most of them are stat sites. I frequently run my site through different stat sites and I run other peoples sites through them as well. This isn't even to build backlinks, just to use the sites. That shows you how natural the links actually are.
 
Yeah but some offer hundreds of thousands of links which is very suspicious to read. The last thing I would want is all of these links pointing at me with a contending keyword. That would screw up my link diversity big time.

Like any kinds of links, these need to be used wisely. That being said, I think there can be value in these - even if it is minimal.
 
Can we still try this method or we need to face any problem with penguin?

The first one keeps asking for a "valid website and email" and tycoos? where does one submit for backlinks? are they working for anyone else? Anyway, brilliant stuff thanks!

awesome that 247backlinks is a great site you can get links with pr i have tested it
 
whenever i see "free backlinks" i get this "run Forrest, run!" in my head
 
Anyone tried this kind of backlinks on Youtube videos to increase the rankings?
