Get featured on the Ahrefs homepage!

Wow SEO agency owners are stuck in 2020 with how they think of their tools.
It pisses me off that the so called leaders of an industry that is built on experiments and tests never bothered to test whether the tools they're using really are the best. So many stupid claims and not a single piece of data to support it.
I'm constantly comparing SEMRush and Ahrefs, and I honestly can't find too many wins for it.
 
Oh man, Ahrefs asking for testimonials?

I thought the one and only Ahrefs once had too many clients so they kicked off small, loyal clients with their famous credit query policy.

I can only guess too many clients have shifted to Semrush over the last 1-2 years.

Couldn't agree more.

Although, I'm guessing that a good portion of the people on the comments are just arse-licking them in order to fish for more exposure for their agencies.

I wouldn't want to be quoted on Ahrefs' homepage saying something that makes me look stupid, but that's just me, I guess... How many non SEO people even see Ahrefs' home page?
 
Hah, testimonials... I've been using only their free tools for 6 months now, and only when I need some quick search and information, even then I'm not always 100% sure, so I often check their accuracy with other tools, I do everything else with SemRush.

Ahrefs lost touch with reality a long time ago, unfortunately, I think it's too late for them to do all this and 'buy' some fake trust.

Yeah. I'd guess it's just a numbers game for social proof to these agency owners.

These agency owners who get featured can then showcase that they are 'featured by Ahrefs' on their agency's site. Prospects/possible clients who aren't that familiar with SEO are probably going to think that they must be the 'real deal' if their 'valuable opinions' are being featured on some famous SEO tools.

I don't really like Ahrefs either, but I'd still say that being featured there could give some nice social proof to agencies that are just starting/don't have other social proofs yet (case studies, etc).
 
What if they increase the price again after reading too much testimonials about how good ahrefs is :(
