Facebook is saturated now? Oh no.. you mean there aren't really more than four hundred million users? You mean it isn't really the hottest viral platform in the world right now? You mean everyone and their mother doesn't have an account there?

In order for marketers to comprise just one percent of Facebook there would have to be more than 4 million Facebook accounts that belong to marketers.. that would mean that 40,000 people would have to own 100 accounts each... there are only about 20,000 members here at BHW.. half of which are actually ACTIVE...

The average FB thread on BHW gets about 50-500 views.. many of which are duplicate views from the same people.. even the hottest thread about FB on BHW.. "FACEWIZARD" only has 12,000 views.. of which probably 2/3 are the same people.. that thread only has about 300 responses.. which pretty much solidifies my theory that there are only about 500-1000 marketers at BHW that ACTIVELY AND EFFECTIVELY market on FB...

I would estimate that there about 1 million fake accounts on Facebook right now.. which means that 0.0025 of Facebook is comprised of marketers. Half of which do not know what they are ding and will quit very soon..

Wouldn't say he's gaining nothing, he's obviously got a strategy. Do you not see the huge affiliate banner in the middle of the page? People like the creator of this thread are driving heaps of money hungry facebook affiliate marketers to his site... which is what he's hoping for.

I was thinking of doing something much like this, more advance of course.

simple codes often work but you still need to have a decent fanpage the best ones get your members talking/posting on the wall with decent info

It also goes down to how many people you invite, the more you can send out the more people see it and find it attractive the higher the chance your page will go viral..its all about thinking outside the box!

Facebook has too many users to become saturated. Even if 200 million users were affiliate marketers (Half of Facebook) there would be 200 million more people to market too. Yeah some methods may have become saturated. But on a whole, the Gold Mine is still filled with gold. You got to sell shovels though.

On another note Facebook is currently going jihad against affiliate marketers. Their in fear that their platform is getting much like myspace. So ads you saw last month are now banned WITHOUT explanation. Affiliate Companys are getting banned, because their ads are too spammy/scammish.
