would anyone know what is the best data scraper available for osx? used to use needle base but it was acquired by google and taken off the market
 
I am also looking for a scraper for mac, any suggestions?
 
I've tried using it with several dozen URLs, (forums and regular sites included) but it didn't scrape any actual users email addresses.

Just wondering if there are any special settings to get better results?

I really want this to work, but it keeps on crashing on me. I'm searching about 200 URL's, within domain only... crashes on any thread level.

Looks so good, but only works for about 20 seconds for me!

The software needs read/write permissions in the folder it is in while scraping. The reason it creates files to store the temporary data (instead of ram). Read the troubleshooter for further info:

Can someone recommend a service for bulk sending emails to the one I scrape with this tool?

Thanks, I've checked the permissions of the application and it has full read/write permissions. I installed version 0.96 and it didn't crash but it got stuck on certain sites and wouldn't finish. So I re-installed the new version and it worked better than the first time I installed it, and it doesn't get stuck on sites like 0.96. But I'm now trying it on a list of 386 sites and it crashes after it finds about 60 emails, not sure why. Maybe I'll try doing chunks of 100 at a time.

*edit* tried that and still crashes on 100, might try and get 0.96 to work again.
