.Edu and .Gov backlinks are considered to be from "Authority" sites ie. the government and so have more "link juice".

1:-Actually the a edu or gov link is linked back by many other websites with great status and so it gets a definitive natural link juice ,when u get a link from it ,your link also get some amount of juice and hence google rate those link from edu and gov much higher than TLDs(com net org)

2:somone said before back-links is are fuel of SEO that's why you need them to get a high ranking is google and hence more traffic

Are there any wordpress blogs which have Do-Follow links in the comments? I can't seem to find any, and I'd think it'd be rather pointless to post on wordpress blogs if this is true.

Its very rare to find any wordpress do follow , but still edu links are very good to give your website some trust.
