When did you pay? You didn't receive any email? I received automated emails when I submitted by order + when I submitted payment more automated emails.

It's all automated, so if you entered your email correct, you should receive emails.

i ordered one day ago
i received just this email:

"Thank you for contacting the HostPapa Support Team. A representative will be in touch with you as soon as possible to answer any questions you may have regarding our services.

Are you a current customer who wants to purchase an additional service? Please visit our Help Centre at blabla go/customer-care.shtml where you can access our self service tools!

Thank you for choosing HostPapa!"

That's not the email I got, that doesn't seem correct at all. That's a customer service contact email, but not an order email. Maybe their order system got overloaded.

Do you see a charge somewhere? If you go back to their website and try to order that same domain, does it say it is available?

As noted, their system is all automated, as soon as I pressed to submit my order and I paid, I got an email which says "Sign-Up Email" automated with an order number.

Did you check your spam folders? They send like 7 emails total so many of the emails go to spam folder.

You should save your time and buy it on namesilo for $6.99. Instead of waiting for more than 24 hours to get a user ID (which you won't, they will probably ask you to verify your identity), I got my domain on namesilo in a few seconds.
Hostpapa is unreliable, I know for sure that I won't ever deal with them again. Just a thing that you need to contact support to simply forward domain makes me angry. Now imagine what headache you will get when you decide to transfer your domain.

What? They replied me after ordering a domain
"Thank you for choosing HostPapa! We truly appreciate that you are going to be using our services!

As an Internet-based business, we have an obligation to take necessary steps to aid in the prevention of Internet credit card fraud. We noticed that the credit card on your order seems to belong to someone else.

You are welcome to use this credit card, however we will need a scan or photograph of the front of the credit card. You are welcome to black out the card number with the exception of the last 4 digits for verification purposes. Also if the CVV is on the front of the card you are welcome to black this out as well. Please simply ensure the following information is visible:

* The full cardholder name
* The last four digits of the card
* The Expiry date.

We look forward to your reply so we can verify your order. "

Should I give them this?

If you want the domain, sure. There is no risk there in providing that information. Just block out the verification code and first 12 numbers.

No option to do a redirect from their dashboard from what I can see. So, I would just contact their support and ask them to do it for you. Or, you can use some other company that lets you point the nameservers to them, and they let you do the redirect.

Yeah u r right, i already contacted them and they tell me the same, that i should point my domain to another provider or to a DNS hosting service that supports free redirection by changing its nameservers, but im 0 knowledge on this kind of things:eek:

Well, thank God I checked the thread before jumping on to buy. I'd rather pay more somewhere else, than submit my life documents for a Dollar transaction.

Surely as I see it's not working now they are asking for docs as seen above would rather save my docs by buying from Go daddy, thanks OP for the share :)
