As some of you already know, today's the day from when you can freely register XXX domains! I just updated my domaining software to support xxx domain scraping so I thought I could list you guys some domains that are not yet registered! I will first post a few domains and maybe continue posting tomorrow. That way more people get a change to register those names... :) I already registered a few great domains and don't want to spend any more money so here you go!

25million @ $100 each = 2.5 Billion if my math is right? That can't be right. $2.5Billion dollars invested in Porno Domain names?

The only thing I can imagine is that there will be a push from these Domain buyers to get Google/Yahoo/Bing to rank .XXX domains HIGHER than .Com domains in the adult industry. But I seriously doubt it will happen. Oh well, this isn't my game. I don't have the money to "guess" that something will be a good investment right now.

Hey, I've got news for you: porn industry is kind of big. Worldwide porn industry revenue is estimated to be in hundreds of billions of dollars.
 
domain gang is not a reliable source. I?ll be surprised if they do 25,000 the first day.
 
I've been in the adult industry for 10+ years and the general consensus on the boards is that this is the biggest money grabbing scam the web has ever seen. They use the guise of protecting children to line their own greedy pockets.

Hey, I've got news for you: The people buying these domains are probably not even interested in running porn sites. I doubt even 20% of the people who bought these domains have any intentions of running porn sites on them. The majority of the buyers are people who want to flip them to others, or companies who are trying to avoid having a porn domain registered under their name which could hurt their image and lead to blackmail later on.

It has nothing to do with the actual porn industries revenues itself. Not to mention most of these domains will probably end up being Dating Sites without any porn or anything at all.

i heard from a terrible source that he heard from a reliable source that adult sites are required to transfer over to xxx and no more porn related materials can be allowed on non .xxx domains. prob part of their ploy. smh

I also will wait for a more reliable source. I just don't believe it can be that high. Even the company which sponsored this TLD never suggested that such a number was possible. I think that number was posted as a way to lure people in to get traffic and links.
