Is there a way to do this? I've heard it's possible on a french ebay plus refunding one cent back to the buyer but can anyone confirm this or know of any other method?

Not that I'm aware of. Just keep your account in good standing and dont have anyone file a PayPal claim against you. After some time, they will remove the 21 day hold.

I don't think it's necessarily paypal, but ebay that does it as well. You can usually tell if it says hold or outside hold....ebay sucks

You might consider getting some aged eBay account with sales, it's not hard to buy one actually. 21 day hold rule applies to all new accounts, however from my experience even on new accounts funds become available much sooner if you provide tracking numbers and avoid any cases opened by buyers that could rise security concerns. If you keep up good work, in only 1 month any eBay holds will be removed.

Aged with no sales require to pass 21 hold.
No more churn and burn :)

As you said, providing tracking numbers is helping. Also if the buyer is rating your order good and confirming everything went well.

Post tracking numbers and ask the receipitant to post posivite ebay feedback immediately.

Actually I started selling on eBay account that was about 5 months old and funds from the first sales became available in less than 24 hours, which is pretty interesting. After about 2 weeks all funds come to PayPal without any hold. I don't know how this works, but it does :)

You need to have a clean history, and you need to call Paypal and ask for removal of the hold.

Yes, happen to me once. :)

Both can put the hold on. It depends a little on if the account is verified but tracking gets it released the fastest. It also depends on the item. I used to always start new accounts with new golf balls I bought on discount, or sold safe items and purchased with another account. The hold comes off faster.
