Its possible to be totally anonymous on the internet, as long as your not doing one of the following.

1. Involvement in Terrorism
2. Involvement in CP
3. Involvement in Financial Scams
4. Pissing off billion dollar companies.(When it comes to warez, if your involved in independent movies of low revenue studios, they will not have the resources to get court orders all over the world to find you and sue you. But if its a company such as WB or Disney, they can do that easily.)

my suggestion would to use your own virtual private network when online
do not use public private network, encryption or etc, use your own if possible

Its best to go a VPN that doesn't keep any logs and is located overseas. The ones that claim that there system doesn't allow for logs, are using ramdisk to prevent the information from being logged into a ssd or HD, where it could be recovered in an investigation if they are raided.
