Can you elaborate on this?
After registration, do I get an unique .edu URL available for people not registered?

I have a .edu subdomain(can modify its dns).
If anyone is interesting, pls PM me :)

I think you get .academia.edu sumbdomain availibe for people and robots to view.

so it's not the main blog you get but you get a sub-domain
but your title said get .edu blog anyways thanks for the info

Looks legit and not to bad of a site but looking at peoples pages it's all nofollow on the links so not sure what people would really gain from it.

Thanks man but pls remove your Avatar PIC it made me made

thank a lot for list , i hope you update everyday :D

So what are the PR of these "blogs" here then... probably n/a but then again it IS a .edu domain. Wonder if they're devalued much.

Thanks...what is the PR of the site ? I am at work now and I have any tools here

And change your avatar please, is annoying as hell

you'll get some profile links with this... been shared many times before but apparently still some people didn't know it, so thx for sharing! ;)

You will get url like this :
Code:
http://uni-heidelberg.academia.edu/JulianStrube

From what I can see homepage url is nofollow. Didn't check the urls in the body/post.
This all blogs are like trusted/wikipedia blogs so any spammed to death and unreadable blog will be tracked and deleted really fast.
Not worth my time.

yes .. its better to post manually on wiki sites by making profile..
if you want to make manually.. :)

Im getting warning from trend micro saying this website is involved in illegal activities...
