Hi

I am trying to run the twitter tool from this thread

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo-tools/74309-small-twitter-tool.html

I keep getting this error though, has anyone any ideas at all?

Thanks

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

System.Net.WebException error comes when there is a network issue, either is the server is not responding , check your browser if you are able to connect to google.

If yes, then the tool has gone bad probably.

The remote server returned an error: (408) Request Timeout.

seems that the programer of the software wasn't able to catch these error and give the user a valuable message. I as a software developer think that some things have changed on the twitter site and now the software isnt working correctly anymore.

do you have tried it on another computer? does the problem still exist? if yes then write to the author of the software and request an update and send him/her the error output! i'm sure that this software isnt able to react on site changes! that's where you're getting the timeouts :)
