(UPDATED) This is now 5GB!
I know this isn't a download specifically, but I am a huge user of Dropbox and have a bunch of accounts, some of my free ones have around 9-10GB of space now.
I like to use multiple accounts as I have a lot of VMWare instances and I like some of them to have private space not with my main accounts.
Anyway, for a limited time Dropbox is beta testing Image syncing from cameras. Every 500MB of images/movies you sync, you will get 500MB storage increase, up to 4.5GB. So a brand new account can end up with 6.5GB of space.
You have to download their beta version, and then just plug in a camera/memory stick, or even a cd/hd with images and chose import to Dropbox.
I did this to 5 accounts, and all of them got 4.5GB increases. If you do more than one account, the easiest way is to throw 4.5GB of pictures/videos on to a DVD and just put it in the drive and have it import. Keep in mind if your a photographer like me, you may use RAW images, it crashes when you do so. So stick with video and jpgs. It also crashes on very large JPGs (like 30MB ones).
Once you do this, I suggest you re-install the latest stable version just in case there are other bugs.
MODS, if this belongs in a different spot, please let me know or move it. It is a very limited time (days/weeks) that this will be available. I suggest updating a couple of accounts if you have others you plan on using in the near future like I do with my VM's.
