CrazyDomains()com is under the ICANN Accredited Registrar - AUST DOMAINS INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD DBA AUST DOMAINS, INC. which seems, from just a cursory look, to be owned by Syra Networks. Looks like AUST Domains is owned by Syra as well. More than likely Crazy Domain is just a reseller of AUST Domains - nothing wrong with this.
As for selling .coms at $5, $6, or $7 keep in mind this is a "loss leader" offering of some sort. Someway, somehow they'll need to recover the loss to turn a profit either buy upselling, making it up on the renewal charge, who knows. I think it's confident to say they're not in business to lose money.
Every .com that's sold costs them $7.85 USD from Verisign (Registry) and .18 USD charge from ICANN. And no Verisign doesn't given discounts on this cost to certain Registrars - All Registrars pay the exact same thing, period, for .coms.
As for claims on this thread of waiting a week or any amount of time after processing a Domain Registration Order - very odd, isn't the typical experience, and smells funny.
