First, you need to be a client of Deutsche Telekom (telekom.de)
You have to figure out how to become a client. If you live in Europe, you can purchase a prepaid SIM card for something around $10-15, and they will send it abroad.
If you live outside the EU, things can become a little more complicated. Do your analysis to see how you can purchase it. If you live in Germany, you can simply go and purchase your card in any of their stores.
Once you register as a user, if you live outside Germany, get a VPN with Germany, download this app, and login with your user data.

I've tried in an account that already claimed the December 2-month free coupon and it does not work, So you may consider opening a new Perplexity account for this if this is your case.
If this is a fricking hassle for you, search on the forum, I've seen some guys selling this for $30-40.
