bought 3 domains from 3 different accounts using 3 different cards. However saw a post here where some1 used VCC on one account and was successful so just try anything.

No YOU better be paying attention to the options chose.(you can even cancel them after purchase, but call ASAP) Godaddy is infamous for upsells.
Also, make sure you disable autorenew NOW if you don't wish to renew with GD next year.
