Totally agree. Sipporting SOPA is a crime against the Internet freedom.
Godaddy should close the doors for this. I hope the voice will spread fast over the net so they will loose millions of domains.
The next time they will be more careful.
I'm moving my domains to Namecheap.

Even if you hate GD, why not buy domains from them when they're selling them as a loss-leader? Transfer before you renew

I've never registered a domain with any other registrar than Godaddy, does it cost anything to transfer the domain?

They didnt reverse their stance. If you read their official statement, they just no longer support sopa IN ITS CURRENT FORM.

They actually helped form the SOPA bill.

Besides that, they are a shady company & the CEO (or ex CEO now?) is a total dick. I have read too many horror stories to ever go near them.
