Hey guys,
I build my social media shop at the moment and I have a few questions:
Should I build only german backlinks? So backlinks on .de domains?
If I can build globald links, which services would you recommend?
Which backlinks should I build first?

If you want to target your site geographically, you need to have lots of backlinks from your country or neighboring countries. Doing SEO globally works as well but you're doing more than needed.

Okay so I should build manual backlinks on german related sites or on any site just to have backlinks for better ranking?

You should just buy a thick package here in the forum .. Sherlock Hacks or so .. the Germans are still so bad back that really everything works.

There is no reason to build just .De backlinks. The best thing is to have a mix between your country domain (de) and a lot more other extensions.
I rank Spanish sites pretty often,by using just international domains like (com, net, org, info .etc) and other members confirmed that this strategy works without any problems.

Backlinks with German anchors and surrounded by the German text will be the best for you. But having links from non-German websites and surrounded by other languages won't hurt you and will add to your link profile. Still the German links will help the most.

Try to find quality sites which post unique contents on regular intervals. It can be a English site or over any domain extension main thing is unique contents and from your niche. You may also go for paid advertisement as traffic from such site matters a lot. :)

Have a healthy mix of every country if possible. Ofcourse, the more german backlinks the better.

I do both for spanish sites. Links with spanish anchors and text, and links with spanish anchors and english text.

I would run a MajesticSEO report on your top few competitors and check their linking strategy, maybe you will find some clues to your question there :)

Theoretically I don't think it would matter so much what the domain extension you are linking from is (do people in Germany really visit .de websites more of the time compared to .com?)

It doesn't really matter IMO. what does matter is that if you use web 2.0's, the articles are also german. it'll look really unnatural to have an english text with a german anchor text link in there lol.

i guess you should think about manual backlinks at this stage. you should go for general backlinks that are done manually.

Try to rank to German keywords and use German anchor links. Receiving links from German language websites will help and you don't need .de

Do you by any chance provide with any linkbuilding for Spanish sites? If yes, please PM me.
