Geo targeting leads

Hey guys,

I could use some input on this. Is there a way to geo target leads for a specific area in the USA or by state.

If so what is the best way to do that.

I have a product that I would like to promote by specific areas. I have no idea how to do it, but I figured someone here might or at least be able to point me in the right direction.

maxmind.com has free databases to target anything you want. They also have sample scripts...

Here is a post I did a while ago that will geo-target by country with complete instructions using the maxmind db.
