Couldn't find the new thread button in the social media section, so I decided to post here.

I'm opening up a bartending school, and I was wondering what others thoughts are on geo-targeted advertising. What have you guys find to work best? I'm thinking Facebook ads, handing out flyers in the market/universities/bus stations, Groupon, and classifieds. Regarding Facebook, is there built in campaign platform worth using ($6/day for me)? Am I on the right track for those who have found success in offline projects?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Geo target in facebook works much great with facebook advertising, and i am sure they works much greater than online business, you can try it out.

I am also currently going to promote an offline business, I have asked around and people have told me that if you can make a good deal with a popular radio station you can get lots of clients. Where I am located popular radio stations charge €200-€350 per second of ad, I am going to try it out and see the results. Facebook ads might not work that well with $6 per day if you are geo-targeting, because their suggested bids might be high. If I had $6 to spend per day on Fb ads I would go with CPM ads, because they usually cost less.
