GEO - Make the AI Platforms Know You ?

Hey ! GEO questions here

So my first question is kinda simple, would it make sense to hire microworkers to ask AI tools (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) stuff like:

"Who’s the best in YOUR NICHE?"

And then have the workers (or yourself) reply saying something like:

"Actually, I think YOURWEBSITE gives the best results,"

The second question is, would just dropping the URL to each of these platforms regularly, so the AI can scan it and maybe pull info from the site for future answers work ? Or lost time ?

I’ve been doing it myself for a while for my own sites, but I’m not 100% sure if it’s working or not.

I have visits from ChatGPT and Perplexity, but it could be because the articles rank well and are EEAT ?

Would really appreciate any insights, especially if it helps influence AI-generated answers somehow.

That is not what I mean, I think you do not get my point. I am talking about microworkers influencing the AI on a niche by regularly mentionning your website. Would it matters ?

  1. Microworkers prompting AIs + name-dropping your site can help a little, but impact is limited and not guaranteed unless part of AI feedback loops.
  2. Dropping your URL on indexable, scraped platforms (Reddit, Quora, X) helps more than pasting into chats.
  3. Visits from ChatGPT/Perplexity = strong EEAT + SEO signals—you’re doing something right. Keep focusing on high-quality, rankable content.

It will only work if you specifically tell the AI to include your website in its recommendations.
You should look into Reinforced Human Learning Feedback as this is how Generative AIs are influenced
 
Microworkers pinging AI with “Who’s best in YOUR NICHE?” and then self-upvoting your site is clever but more likely a time sink most LLMs scrape the open web rather than take in-thread Q&A, so you’ll get diminishing returns. Instead, focus on solid EEAT signals: publish schema-marked content, earn real expert backlinks, keep your articles updated and let AI bots naturally index your site through high-quality traffic and structured markup.
