Generating high DA links with XSS

Dose this technique still work?

Make a blog comment or web2.0 with a link to http://uk.ask.com/web?q=reddit.com&qsrc=0&o=312&l=dir&qo=homepageSearchBox then when google crawls this link you get a link to reddit.com (or obviously whatever your domain actually is) from a DA 90 something website.

Nope, it never did, including those redirects from .gov sites. It always was just a redirect from an orphan page. Some people maybe claimed it was effective, but we did experiments with thousands of those links and the effect was exactly zero...always. Ok, maybe back in the good old times Altavista ruled the search market (yes, really).

Ha that's interesting to know! Ive always wondered how google treated orphaned pages
