I have invested in a blog and have it up and running. My niche is health and I am an affiliate with ClickBank. I am aware that BuzzBundle can be useful but cannot afford much at the moment. I am looking to generate traffic, I understand SEO isn't exactly easy and plan to work up to that. At the moment I just want to get the ball rolling and am willing to do the work manually to get everything going. What is a simple way to bring in a small amount of traffic? Again, not looking to spend anything and willing to put in any work needed.
So just a dummy account to post and share the website? I've read that social media sites are programmed to catch on to someone sharing a link repeatedly regardless of the surrounding comment, is that correct?
no not dummy account, set up fan page for your site and a twitter account. post content to them and share posts
No, he means create a legit account for your site. Post interesting content in it and join TONS of groups to try to get fans and then people sharing the cool posts. NOTE: This is a SHIT LOAD of hard work. And for the record most of the time is a complete waste of time. -ThopHayt
I agree with that, i personally hate social media but it seems to be the big thing nowadays. I do it only because i feel i need to. It is a lot of work
I would honestly recommend just starting with good old fashioned solid longterm SEO. Grind away, there is no golden ticket to fast traffic, most the promise it are a scam. I do use social shares as part of my SEO, but not to generate traffic. Unless your blog is a niche hobby that has a ready made group of fanatics you are wasting time posting Facebook and Twitter stuff hoping for viral traffic usually. Or perhaps you could, but it would be a lot of work, so much that its not worth the time. Build out a small PBN, find niche blogs and comment them, drip in manually created niche forum posts... good solid clean SEO. -ThopHayt
