Hey guys,
So Ive been studying lots for the last couple years, mainly eCommerce dropshipping. Now thats been bastardized with so many people selling slow shipped crap products from China. My background is in real estate services, my family is in loans and real estate sales. I have a couple real estate licenses (Appraisal and Sales, I let my loan one lapse). I found myself working in a factory for almost the last 5 years (vesting a pension in a couple months). Now I just finished a degree and got some certifications in ads. I started a LLC again and am readying to get going with SOMETHING. I need it to be based around ads, preferably Facebook ads as they have such a good interface. Ok so, now I am coming into some money from family that I will use to clear up bad bills and free up my cashflow from work (I earn near 100K gross annually). Being broke for a while from bad financial management has taught me some tough lessons. I study different methods to earn remote online, I have a list I write out every day and have for the past 12+ years like I have OCD.
Currently I am wanting to change gears from working the grind in a factory to running ads since its the most scalable. I could go back to appraisal and be a licensed broker and have a good appraisal license level in 2 years time (1 year experience here). I had over complicated things in the past and suffered from shiny object syndrome/analysis paralysis. I can recall spending lots on courses for things that were too expensive to start such as real estate investing and wholesale custom supplement ordering to retail.
I am planning now to take the next step to run ads for clickbank offers, real estate leads (for family) and a general niche ecommerce store. This will help me put together a portfolio for use in obtaining new lead generation clients from cold email efforts.
In 2020 until now I bought some passive adsense sites, invested in cryptocurrency somewhat successfully and had a couple decent real estate leads from offline business card marketing efforts (none closed, but just 1 would be a small windfall). I did supplement my income selling junk on eBay after getting my account back. I found out also from my coin roll hunting efforts that its no longer viable with my old method, due to so little silver being in circulation. Giving up on gambling too since I find that on the player side its too competitive, it would take forever to get skill enough to win earnings repeatedly even in the microstakes level.
So anyways, making this journey thread in anticipation of running ads soon for different products/services/offers in order to get a portfolio together. Things in IM change quite fast so I just need to get my feet wet with facebook ads. Im thinking of spending $2,000 to get things going at first.
1. Clickbank Health Affiliate Offers
2. General Niche Shopify Store
3. Lead Generation Services (1 or 2 Family members wanting me to start soon, this will be the basis of my Lead Gen. side of the portfolio)
I see my main goal down the road being helping people get leads. I can get 22% referral fee and maybe some adspend with my R.E. Sales license in hand. Putting together this portfolio should be quite a learning experience. Getting Doctors/Chiropractors and such eventually for the lead generation may be better than real estate, but I have a couple family members ready to go soon who are paying THOUSANDS in costs for leads from lead generation middlemen service providers. Use what you got I figure.
Want to build my credit and savings after wiping debt so I can buy into some real property once the market takes a slide. Will update once I get money for launch (after my father sells a house since he officially retired, $$$)
