Hi. I have to install a software for a specific task and that software will use my home wifi. How do you guys use such software securely? Can I use virtual machine? Virtual machine will give me significant security since I can remove the virtual machine anytime?

Yes, a VM adds a good security layer since the software is isolated from your main OS and you can delete the VM anytime. Just remember it still uses your network, so it doesn’t fully isolate network risk.

Of course you can use a virtual machine for safety. We are using VPS very smoothly
