I recently added adsense to my blog that gets no organic traffic.

Here is the question: Would it be feasible to make a profit from purchasing traffic? Say, I found a site that would sell XXXX amount of web traffic for $5 for a month. I guess the question is how much does adsense pay?

I know there are many variables such as niche and the type of visitors, but would this be a feasible way to make a profit?

Would it be more feasible to spend around $100 to buy a SEO package to get organic traffic?

Are the keywords easy to rank? $100 in SEO might not get you much in rankings so not much traffic.

A lot of the cheap paid traffic will never click on any of your ads. You will need to read the reviews to see if anyone is reporting actual ad clicks.

$5 a month traffic is bullshit. I burned my $5 on one top rated fiverr gigs. This traffic shows up as direct traffic in GA but does not record anything (impressions/ clicks) on adsense. Its waste of time and money.

SEO is long process and will need lot more than $100 a month. There are good paid traffic sources and I am evaluting some of them. I had success with couple of paid traffic sources but need to find few more.

It all depends on your keywprxa and niche.. I think the more stable option would be to work on building the traffic to your blog..

I think the general consensus here is that $5 paid traffic is bogus. I bought some from fiverr yesterday and while the i did get the impressions, the clicks were not there.

Haha I wish I would have listened to you guys, but nonetheless it was only $5. Maybe I could get a few clicks from it this month and make that money back!

Dont invest in paid advertisement so quickly if you are looking for immediate profit. Work on content and do promotions through social media and blog submissions. After couple of months, invest in FB ad and Google Adword.
