$4.50 average per gallon here in chicago which is the most expensive in the whole country and is the most expensive it has ever been...

No offense, but you claim to know better than me when I lived in Libya my whole life? My dad is in Libya, he recently filled a tak for $200, which is first time in life he filled for $200 in Libya (except when going to other cities), usually $8/60litres.

Insane or no, it is that price.

Ehm $5/galon is NOT expensive IMHO.. Over $2.50/liter here..

Exactly the reason i added small energy companies to my portfolio when stock market crashed so when gas prices went up i wouldn't be so upset. In fact i dont even know the cost of a gallon here. But im always hearing people complain but for me not so bad

I think its 3.50 a gallon here, it was the last time I looked. I dont really pay attention, its not like you can get around without it.

Of-course I don't think I know better than you about Libya, I believe you when you say that's the cost.. I just debate whether the price increase is due to corruption or the reason stated..

Yeah, gas prices really are unreasonable these days, in most parts of the world !!!

It it keeps on going higher and higher - with no end in sight!

2.19$ per liter (~8.3$ per gallon) in Germany right now where I live...and around 70% of that are just taxes.

In italy now is $8.82 Gallon LOL
with 1 gallon you can make 40-50 Km LOL
