9% engagement is pretty good. Lots of big accounts I checked have less then 4%...

Its because people say the opposite to reduce the competition.

For example many say youtube is dead, but are making 1k daily with it.

They just dont want the extra competition

I don't even understand why people are drawn to these adhd gurus. They are always overly positive and excited about every little thing. After a clip of showing excitement, they show you their expensive car and their cool office. Next up they fly in their private jet, with some cool party music in the background. After that it's a clip of them siting in the sun by the pool - with a macbook in their lap! Working! How cool is that!? Working while you sit in the sun by the pool. What an awsome life!!

Don't forget the motivational speeches about how "if I can do it - then so can you!" and "work harder than anyone else". Even more awesome with some music in the background that gives the speec a stronger feeling.

I really can't understand how people enjoy watching this shit.

But I guess their target group is shallow young people. And I am neither shallow, young or people.

one thing i don't like is when he gets someone for interview and interrupts them every now & then.

Always i start watching his video, i get irritated by his annoying slangs repetition .

AS for auto DM, it works good. If you send a message like: Hey! If you like (your niche) would be cool/ awesome (or whatever) if you follow my account @....(your account name). No url or selling. I found out that works really well. If you want to increase engagement, posts pics like...tag a friend if you can relate. Or what's better A or B? Stuff like that. Not an expert of anything, just tried and experimented a lot in the past months. Also just tag like 20 or so of your followers (if they are real of course) every 10 posts to increase engagement as well. Just tweak and test out how this work for your IG account. F/U works good if you put someextra time in engaging with the people who follow you and just make sure you follow people only in your niche.

What's the point of this thread? Would Gary take back his words or what? I'm pretty sure he influenced so many people in different ways and I'm not his fan or supporter. If you're trying to ruin his credibility here (lol), you've achieved your goal, congrats. I'd personally say that engagement groups are more efficient than F/U. I think he is entitled to his opinion as well.

If you do it right, you can grow your instagram to around 300k, like a friend of mine did. I'm actually thinking of doing the same thing seeing his success of internal network engagement rounds, but a convo for another day.

And I was very specific with my words that most of the peopleat the very top of MLMs are extremely successful, have other streams of income (often digital agecies as well, Gary ain't that special), are bestselling authors as well and get paid six figures. MLM's aren't inherently bad, but they have a bad rep for the shitty way they run their business. Gary has nothing to do with that. Gary holds THOUSANDS of $FB shares. So I conclude that he's not shitting on F/U because it's actually bad, but because he wants more people to pay instagram/twitter directly, which will make him a lot of money when Facebook pays out dividends. I'm a trader who started with stocks. Do you really think I don't know what I'm talking about? Or you think I'm wrong?

I'm not saying I'm smarter than GaryVee, but I'm saying that GaryVee isn't telling absolute truth. He's not speaking out of best intentions, like he claims. He has a hidden agenda, and I just described it perfectly. Tell me I'm wrong, and Gary won't make more money if bot users switch to paid ads??

90% of the time the young entrepreneurs do'nt really have a way of getting their biz off the ground other than growing their instagram with F/U method, and can't really afford to pay hundreds of dollars for overpriced instagram ads. What do you tell people I personally know who got their dropshipping gigs going thanks to my help with their instagram?

Just like everyone else serving up stupid pinterest advice or whatnot to weak SHEEP - his followers literally follow him like a sheep.If he was only giving out great fact based business advice that would be fine, but he loads it up with a bunch of nonsense and acts like whatever he says is GOLDEN. Yes he may have made a lot of money through business, but i cant stand people who get paid to give away 'advice' for money. That's what therapists are for. Not business people. I cant see how anyone can buy into these business people. Motivating people to me is not business , its talking advantage of people. But they signed up for it and paid for it so they're half to blame.
