https://www.gandi.net/domain/buy/payment/ is selling .EU domains for $0.12 or £0.12 or E0.12 (including VAT) for 1 year.

You can pay via credit card, bank transfer or PayPal (PayPal only used on orders of over $14 - that's over 100 domains :()

And I think there's WHOIS protection/privacy on .FR and .EU

    It's not free...but close! :p

    • Thanks Thanks x 8

Sorry m8 I should've given thanks already. I got a bunch of domains last
night. Had forgotten about them. Bad habit of mine when I see something
cheap. Do a quick niche brainstorm and register a bunch of domains for them.
you can still get some good ,eu's.:tee:

No problem :p I'm happy everything went well and good luck with the domains and whatever you do with them!

I don't have a CC yet I've got a list of 48 potentially valuable .EU domains that are available...

Problem with this promotion... it seems that every f*cking domain is taken...

I wonder how many will expire next year

Thanks anyway for the heads up! Didn't bought any, but didn't needed any for small purposes either. I was looking for one word domains... all taken -.-

Okay, I'm trying them again, and I find their whois extremely unreliable. I search for a couple domains, next second, they're unavailable... next second, they're available again...unreliable.

Edit: Fail, I tought it was until midnight GMT and not CET... conclusion? Thought I had still an hour left. I had not. Lost 5 great domains for 50 cents. God darn it. I'll just wait until another thing like this pops up... sigh -.-'

Because most people have their domains auto renew and will hold them for years. They got you at $4 a pop next year unless you disable auto renew.

The scammers! lol well just remember to cancel then ;)

"Here is a little fall surprise for our European customers: As a result of our Sale on EU domains, we have "won" a certain number of domains at the registry, EURid. To help you benefit from this occasion, we are dropping the price of .EU domains to 0.10 euros excluding VAT, for the next 4,000 .EU domains, until August 31st at 23:59 CET!!" is what they say...
