At the moment i have a video game website based on popular MMO's and it currently gets around 2000 sessions a day and roughly 7000 page views a day.
Currently the only monetization used is adsense earning around £2.50 a day.
I have tried others such as CPMStar, maxbounty, clickbank and amazon. Amazon i made nothing from, i presume it doesn't work since no one visiting the site is after buying things. The others like CPMStar made a lot less than adsense.
Basically i would love to know of others who also have gaming websites if they have had better success with other ways of monetizing or if these numbers are as good as it's going to get with the current traffic.

    Thanks in advance :)

How long does an average visitor stay on your site?

You could try Tshirts and gaming related stuff like that

Clickbank has a few LoL guides, but I dont think people are likely to buy them (might be worth trying tho)

Consider g2a. Its a gaming affiliate

You can always place a pop up or pop under inside the site so you can get a better rate.

Don't hesitate to test out newer ad units, prefer to do it that way and maybe you will be better off to succeed in the Eastern World with the trade we all cherish and follow.

I'm assuming you're in the UK so these exact sites might not work, but I'm sure you can twist it to fit your needs.

I went and visited the sites of popular places to buy/rent video games here in the US (Gamestop, Gamefly, etc.). Most businesses have a link in the footer of their website to their affiliate program. Click that, sign up, and place the offers. Your audience gets fed offers from large companies that they're probably already aware of and have some level of trust towards.
