I also have a gaming blog. Depending on the amount of posts I do a day determines my traffic. The amount of traffic per post I drive is significantly higher than what your producing. I have found a few good ways to get gaming traffic. Msg me and I think we can help each other.

I've been running a site since 2008, and average about 60,000 hits a month. I do this for fun, not money, so only one AdSense banner ad in the header. I don't really care if it gets clicks or not!! I still do SEO, both white hat and black. The key to traffic is original content, from a good team of writers. Try to steer clear of posting every single piece of news. Most people get their gaming news from big sites like IGN or CVG. Maybe a 500 word article giving your take on the big news of the day. Also, use names as post authors, not handles. People hate that!!

To get more targeted traffic post every original post to N4G. Also set up your feed via Feedburner to automatically post to Twitter and Facebook.
