Maybe it's jumping around because every one else's site is on fire.
Been seeing this for all kinds of queries, not just spammy stuff. Things that normally say x,xxx,xxx+ results sometimes showing very few results. Not sure if it's an experimental algorithm update or what.

I understand this is old but the interesting thing is I have seen it for the first time for a 90500 searches word with very less competition (from seo point of view)
I remember google put a hammer on dissertation writing service niche a couple of years ago however it replaces the 100 results with non-commercial links. This query on the other hand has very few results which is fascinating because there should be a lot of people doing CPA with it.

A bunch of dissertation/essay niche keywords were banned form Adwords/PPC. Organic search was barely touched, if it was touched at all. Essay writing sites are still ranking fine and any keyword related to dissertation writing will give you almost exclusively if not exclusively commercial sites on the first page.

Guys honestly, what do you expect. CPA gaming hack sites are utterly spam in the eyes of Google. Some guys even only put a generator on there.
The real question is: How did they change the algorithm? Will they now deindex/penalize websites directly after a few days?
I made a gaming hack websites 4 days ago and it just got deindexed today. It was not ranked at all. Also it was on a brand new domain. Very fishy things are going on here.

I said "couple of years back". I have worked in that niche that's why i know it first hand
Google removes all the commercial writing service websites back then from organic search. Only educational and universities sites were appearing for terms related to dissertation. PPC was also closed but then money comes in and everything get back to normal.
Everything is open now ofcourse, even PPC

Huh. I've been in the essay/dissertation niche since 2012 and don't recall any kind of organic search algorithm change / bulk manual penalty action occurring.
I know a bunch of KWs are still banned for PPC, but there are a bunch of KWs that are still allowed. Things like "dissertation help" are fine for PPC, but a lot of things like "buy dissertation" are banned.

it probably didnt stabilise yet, it couldnt be straight deindexed or you did some stupid thing.
my game hack sites is also up since couple days and no problem

Oh, it was. I build exactly three Web 2.0 manually and one PBN link. The website got 100% unique content. They must have a filter or something like that, otherwise I can't explain it to myself. Again, it was a brand new domain. Even if I would do something "stupid", it wouldn't take a few days to get hit with a penalty. It would take at least a few weeks on a brand new domain. There is definitely something fishy going on.
By the way I still got 4 money sites in the gaming hack niche running. Two of them are multi-niche sites. So far they survived. The penalties of the competition gave my websites an incredible boost.

I think is a mix between people (competitors) mass reporting and companies tired of getting their brand abused with these hack generator, also Google might have blacklisted some keywords kinda like they did with Youtube, like when your videos get taken down even if they're private or unlisted.

Its like they cleaning up their search engine from gaming hacks and so on. Blacklisting words means censorship. Too many legit sites would get penalized if they would blacklist words and so on.
Lets see if they really changed their algorithm or just took the ban hammer and took down the whole gaming hack niche at once. It would be bad if this is an ongoing process. The whole demand for the "gaming hack" stuff is just a result of the greediness of all those gaming companies like Supercell or Electronic Arts, which are basically ripping off poor teenager and children with microtransactions. Google should penalize them for scamming the people!

It baffles me that people seem oblivious to these very simple FACTS !
I mean how can you even ask why these things happen to these types of sites and seem genuinely surprised when they do, and your only rationalization for what seems like complete confusion or more likely Denial is ...

It's called a CRACKDOWN!... I mean the copyright stuff is bad enough but at least in a lot of cases the something sought or promised is actually Given even if it is not yours to give.
But with the fake hack shit there are no such intentions to give anything..IT IS A STRAIGHT UP FRAUDULENT ACT..A JACK MOVE! You know what happens to people in some less than reputable businesses that pull of this kinda shit...That's right! THAT !!
..but in this case It's just a bunch of pissed of people probably looking for a way to get back at the publisher for doing this to them,wasting their time for nothing lol. I mean of course there are those rare savy publishers who at least run these type of shiest campaigns with a bit of forethought, maybe make the person think they're not doing something right or the hacker malfunctioned or something, but most do no such thing. So that brings us to where we currently stand.When something is as poisonous and destructive to a particular industry as these Fake Hacks Bullshit are it's only a matter of time before even those who once used that type of thing as a "means to an end" starts to realize it's not in the best interest in the overall big scheme of things. And thing is some who have earned a nice piece of change and can afford to start running more healthier, legitimate campaigns still chose not to. That baffles me even more. I mean I can If not agree with, understand how some of those just starting out might choose this path, but those who know better, those who clearly understand the damage this is doing, how it's changing the landscape of what we do here. I mean you'd have to be an idiot to think advertisers wouldn't sooner or later start taking drastic measures to start combating this, and those Networks who covertly allow it just so they can sooner or later JACK the publisher out of one of those final juicy paychecks in the name of Breaking T.O.S....You know, Like what adsense does eventually lol..Those networks are at the root cause as well ..GREED IS A BITCH THO!
You know in some Industries or markets when a bunch of people see something that is damaging to their Livelihood they can in some cases develop a posse like mentality to snuff out that which is a detriment to the whole of things..Soooooo, lol, don't always think it's the higher ups who are reporting and disrupting these lawless operations..sometimes it's the least person you expect..Not your competition or anything like that, I mean That too of course, but I think it's getting to the point where this thing is getting to be viewed in such a bad light that there probably is a uprising of whistle-blowers on the mount who figure they have no other choice..I'm just saying. Not that I would ever think of doing something like that, just not in my pedigree, Just saying I could see why some would..
