Gambling on pokerstars

No, they are not rigged. Poker sites earn money with rake so it doesn't matter for them if you or the other player win the money. They will get their cut anyway.

It's your fault if you lose money.

Bud, I’m telling you unless you play full time, have a coach, study, use all the programs like pokertracker etc... and have a big big bankroll it’s not worth it... some pros who are very very good don’t even make more then a part time job makes a month man... online is dying unless u have 100k plus bankroll to play higher stakes and then everyone knows each other avoids playing each other and just play fish, if ur new they all bash u till u quit or move down that’s how it works ...

Mod Edit - Promoting other forums is against the ToS.

Live poker is a diff story u can make big money playing esp if ur a good cash game player

Collision in high stakes is real. You know how in quora or reddit you have to pretend to be an active and engaged member, and only include your link in every 10 or 20 answer to avoid being banned? In pokerstars is the same, people who collide do it one or 2 days every month on high stakes and do whatever it takes to protect their accounts at all costs. But is the hands when they DO collide the ones that will cost you the most and will make you realize there's nothing you can do against them.

If u play online poker I would recommend playing tourneys now, but u need 10k bankroll to play small stakes, but even before that hire a coach they will get you to winning level

When I started I was an average joe online playing for fun, my coach opened my eyes and made me a pro heads up sng player where I moved to ST 6max SNG ... top guy on sharkscope plays them also .... but tourneys are good also just huge variance

Hello ,happy new year ! anyone plays poker or casino on pokerstars , after i lost a lot of money i am thinking that they have some evil software and taking money from people anyone agree with me?
This "bad software" is called gambling :)
They do not need to put any kind of softwares because you are going to bet more and more until you lose everything anyway

Gambling sites are regulated. They have independent testers and so on. You have no idea how strict the regulators are. They are certainly not in favour of the casinos.

Yeah, being a billion $$ business i bet "Malta Lotteries and Gaming Commission" and "Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission" with a corruption index of 56 are busting their asses to crack them down..

As someone who has just lost over 500k a year due to the UK Gambling Commission, I know exactly what I'm on about, unlike yourself. Why don't you look into how many casinos have been fined by the UK Gambling Commission over the past two years. They don't work hand in hand. Far fucking from it. In fact the complete opposite.

In fact if you'd actually look into things, the ex UK Gambling Commission CEO (Sarah Harrison) seems to have had a massive fucking chip on her shoulder, because "daddy was probably a gambler". The same hell bent cunt that wanted all the models removed from the IGB conferences. You clearly have no clue at all about the regulators, or what they can do. I can fucking assure you they ain't for fucking gambling. 100 fucking percent.

PokerStars is in Canada lol they sold to Amaya gaming years ago they run their severs here too

Funny thing second they sold to Amaya gaming they were caught for insider trading

I am sorry to hear about your loss, but i personally never trust or believe any regulations and commissions when it comes to billion dollar industries.
Also the UK gambling licence is just 1 of the many they have and it does not necessarily means that the game its not manipulated in any way, in fact most of their casino games are licenced and regulated by Malta.

There are also a ton of testimonies of reputable poker players saying how they cant even catch a break at online poker, describing rigged play involving favorable "hot IP`s" and seeing plays that in a normal Poker would never happen and would be statistically impossible. There is also some logic behind this called "Money Flow" saying that if the online poker game was as real and random as the real world poker than the PRO players would dominate this area discouraging new players and picking up all the profit which would eventually dry up the "NEW" money flow to online casinos - forcing online casinos to implement shady tactics.

Again i am no expert nor do i maybe have the experience as you except playing on there from time to time, its just as i said i do not trust big money corporations especially when there is so much fuss about it.
And i guess we will never know since being a billion $ business an incriminating source code would never see the light of day for analysis.

The money flow theory assumes players won't deposit again after losing. They always deposit again. And again.

Well of course there are shady licences out there. But I guarantee anything like Pokerstars that is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission is more than above board, and the Gambling Commission certainly does not work with the casinos. If you enter their site via UK you will see the Gambling Commission logo at the bottom. If you click their logo it takes you to their UK licence. There, if there is any issues with the casino, they are listed, and it tells you what the issue is.

These days most the issues are bullshit, about false advertising, and not doing enough to protect problem gamblers. I could list loads of UK casinos who have been fined over these bullshit issues. And in turn to claw back their fines, have dumped their affiliates.

People get pissed off gambling, because they lose. But that is gambling for you.

Personally I don't work in the Poker niche. But from what I gather, they make their money via charges on the game, and not by losses.

In the UK, it is not just down to the Gambling Commission. They have independent companies that test the games and work out the RTP and shit. There are many things in place to make gambling "fair" that have fuck all to do with the casinos. At the end of the day, if you gamble, you are a bit of a mug, if you think you are going to be up off it all the time.
