Hi, I have a question about my domain (for example: banana.com).
I created a gambling landing page at banana.com/menu/ (Brand A), and it was ranking on page 1 of Google for Brand A keywords.
Last week, I created a new page at banana.com/about-us/ (Brand B), and it also reached page 1 for Brand B keywords. I also built backlinks for Brand B pointing to banana.com/about-us/ using Brand B anchor text.
A few days later, the ranking of banana.com/menu/ dropped from position #2 to #8 on page 1.
After that, I removed the about-us page, then restored it again, and requested reindexing.
My questions:
For the future, should I focus on buying high-traffic guest post backlinks for Brand A? Or is it better to redirect Brand B to another domain? Or do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.

- Did banana.com/menu/ drop because I built backlinks for Brand B?
- Or is it because I am using two different brands on the same domain?
