I've been managing Google Ads for casinos, and recently, I've noticed an interesting trend: broad match keywords combined with a strong list of negative keywords seem to be more effective than relying solely on exact match keywords, which tend to be quite expensive.
However, this approach isn't universally effective across all regions. For example, broad match performs exceptionally well in countries like Indonesia and Thailand. In contrast, the results in the UK, Germany, and France have been less impressive with broad match, where more targeted strategies might be necessary.
Naturally, my clients often ask why this happens, but I don’t have a 100% answer.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with different regions?
