I'm currently building an Authority site to try and cash in with gambling affiliates.

Does anyone have any success stories or personal journeys from being successful with gambling affiliates?

There doesn't seem to be that much information on BHW from using the search.

Do you mean you are building a site to attract affiliates so the become sub affiliated to you?

No, I've setup a site full of affiliate advertising, that i hope will generate income through signups and revenue shares.

You'll be tempted to promote the "big guys" but they already have an immense database of players and won't credit you any referral that is already in the DB. Try to find smaller (but reliable) websites to increase your conversion %, also read the TOS in detail I've seen some programs that will close your account if you don't have 10 active players during a month.

What market are you promoting? This is also a major factor in gaming.

Finally if you want to talk to other gambling affiliates you should visit gpwa(.)org

Thank you for your help. :)

I will be promoting Sports betting on an MMA Betting blog that I've been building over the last 2 months.

It's going to be launching this Friday,so I was hoping to get some advice from people with experience in making money through gambling affiliates.

Thanks again

Please PM me. I have a betting tips site and willing to pay big money for signups to my site.

Actually betting is very hard to convert. Unless you offer good picks and buy advertising I don't see reason why users should go to your website when there are lots of other sport websites.

Our picks are solid which is why we have strong customer base from twitter advertising only.

We will give out $100 USD for each sale of a monthly membership.

I've no story for you, but a few guidelines :)

Don't underestimate revenue share. Most goes for CPA.
Go for smaller brands instead of the biggest ones, they are probably already signed up at those.
Don't over do it with flashy (annoying) banners, text links works fine as well.

If you don't mind, pm me your url and I can have a look and might be able to share some additional ideas.

I run a successful betting portal for almost 10 yrs now. It is much harder to do now then back when I started. Competition is huge but if you get a good book of players rev share is best way. Generally each converted player is worth about $500 lifetime so a 100-250 cpa your giving money away. There is also a chance you get a guy who drops 100k...

Only advice I can give is you have to grab the new players who come on and are looking to signup at a book. The US market is the best IMO. The EU etc..has too many popular books so guys know to go right to them.

Expect about a 30% conversion rate

yeah bet365 is SO easy with their affiliate program then you use PPV to cookie capture

Are any of you still running a site? PM me since I have a few offers for you and manage the affiliate program of a few small sportsbook and casino sites (EU/UK/Curaco licenced)

ask from poker affiliates network they are brilliant in gambling offers, might you get your answer
