Gaking Google CHROME usage metrics experiment - Need Help!

what's up BH'ers,

Trying a little experiment here. More and more people in the seo community seem to think that big G is reading usage metrics (time on site, pages visited, use of bookmarks) from their Google Chrome browser to determine how good a site is, therefore how it should rank.

The experiment I want to do is send fake traffic from the Chrome browser with different IP adresses, that spends some time on site, clicks random pages, scrolls up and down, and bookmarks the homepage (the page Im trying to rank). This is done on a low volume local SEO search, not very competitive. The site currently stands at position #3 and it has been there for a little while.

The problem I'm running into is that I'm not very experienced in mass account creating so I'm getting caught in google's nets... here's what I'm doing :

** btw the goal is to make google think every visit is from a totally different user from a different computer and IP.

1) Uninstall previous installation of Google Chrome, remove browsing history, cache, etc. No more Google Chrome folder;
2) Run Hide My Ass pro VPN service - select a local IP address close to my hometown from a list of hundreds of IPs. Those are supposed to be elite anonymous proxies - correct me if I'm wrong;
3) Do a fresh install of google Chrome without importing any data from any other browser;
4) Create a gmail account and log into google Chrome with that account;
5) Surf the targeted website, bookmark the homepage;
6) Exit google Chrome
7) Go back to step #1, on and on

btw this is all manually done (for now)

I'm running into problems at #4, because every new account I create gets associated with the first account I created and when I log into google Chrome with the account, the site I bookmarked is already there and I get messages saying the account is ''synced'' with the previous account. On top of that after 4 accounts google asked me for phone or sms verification.. ewww.
Obviously they know I'm the same user so I'm doing something wrong. It's probably obvious to some of you what I'm doing wrong like.. should I delete something in the registry or is there some little thing that I'm missing? or maybe google looks at mac addresses? that would be bad.

try installing chrome into a sandbox then empty/delete the sandbox each time
pretty time consuming though also you could try using different versions of chrome each time

could we support this test crowdsourced? we all have g accounts. Op should giv us his name, we surf there, click around and bookmark it. would make it to crowdsourced case study. i'd be in with 4 accounts.

hmmm this is a good idea subster, but the site I'm studying is a .CA site that I'm trying to rank for a local term in my 70k people hometown, so I'm trying to get visits from local IP addresses as well. Not sure if local or not matters in the eyes of google (that's if they even use chrome metrics for ranking), but I really want to be 100% sure so I'm gonna go with local IPs

OTOH, I have another site that's currently not geotargeted and ranking on google in pretty much all countries.. but it's traffic is increasing fast and rankings fluctuating so it would be hard to determine the effects of our experiment. On top of that it's pretty scary to out your sites on BHW Lemme think a bit if I really want to give out my site or not.. not a huge site or anything but I like it

You are totally right... Nobody wants to have his site outed here (if it is not a BH site) hahaha.

W130SN I have tried sandboxie and it works.. but for some reason after 2-3 account creations google asks for phone verification again. Im changing proxies every single time.. but somehow they see through the proxy. What should I do now?
