On the top of the website, it shows "December discounts upto 50% off". I assume they are now getting their gullible victims to scam, through their organic Google links.

That is IMPOSSIBLE. It shows that (sorry to say), you know NOTHING about BTC (Bitcoin), not even the basics.
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and can only be REFUNDED by the receiving party.
https://bitcoin.org/en/you-need-to-know is the top informational website about Bitcoin and it also mentions that "Bitcoin payments are irreversible".
Decentralized blockchains are immutable, which means that the data entered is irreversible, which means that a Bitcoin transactions is irreversible.
Please provide me one (legit) source where it mentions that a Bitcoin payment is reversible and then ONLY we talk further about this.

I am surely getting off of the misery caused here, I guess, but in my defense, you deserved it all along. The world is full of dumb people who believe what the Internet says without trying it for themselves.

The idea is to use a really low fee the first time so that it will take time for the transaction to be confirmed, as miners will process the high-fee transactions. Then use Replace-by-fee and increase the fee than before to broadcast a new transaction, replacing the original one. Of course, once the transaction is confirmed even once, it will not work. Luckily, in my case, the scammer was too hurried and deleted the chat before the transaction was confirmed. I was using Electrum at that time. None of the exchanges have this feature, I think.
