GA and statcounter. Different results.why?

I started using statcounter 2 weeks ago and it's a surprise to see how different the results are from GA.
Being a new blog, traffic is small but statcounter always shows more visitors than GA. The difference can be +20 visitors.
I've been told GA doesn't count visitors with java off but even if that is so, it is not enough to explain this difference.
Btw, both codes are located in the same place, one after the other.

Depends on the traffic you are receiving, Google Analytics is not reliable at reading redirected or iframed traffic. Statcounter may also be registering more crawlers or bots.

However, on our sites where we use GA to track conversions, it missed a good percentage. People assume since it has the google name attached to it, it is infallible, but it can be.

I don't have any paid traffic. Traffic source is direct, referrals and SE. I believe direct traffic is originated by tube sites, image galleries, social networks and other places where I promote my blog using watermarked videos and images.

As for crawlers or bots, I believe +20 daily is a bit too high.

I don't expect the same results by both counters but the difference is important considering the total number of visitors.

Different programs always provide different results. It's normal.
If difference is more than 5% — this is suspicious.

i sent some bot traffic once to my site, ga didnt count them, stat did
