G2A Journey!

Hello, BHW!

Since my last project in travel niche is actually being quite successful and I am losing interest in writing about traveling I am going to sell the site, my good old friend. So I decided to embark myself on a brand new journey in gaming niche!

Why gaming?

I like games, who does not? Also, I am most of the time up to date in the newest game news and I consider myself as someone who understands gamers . I also believe it is quite profitable, although competition is really high!

What will I do?

First and foremost I am going to register a domain. Since I am trying to build a brand, I will choose a catchy domain name related to gaming! Then I will get myself a nice hosting package and I will buy a nice magazine/gaming theme. After all of that, I will contact G2A and see if they offer 3% discount to web pages. I hope I can make something work out. If not, fuck it.


I will build my website using only Wordpress and nothing else.

What are my expectations?

I will be building an authority website here, so my expectations are going to be high. Something along $100 per day.

And all of that in 6 months? Seems impossible to me, but just maybe I will do it!

How will I get web site traffic?

Another good question I asked myself. I will most likely buy some Pinterest bot and Twitter bot (they should help, right?).

How will I monetize?

I plan to use a G2A affiliate links as well as AdSense.

To do list:

Register a domain
Host it
Buy a theme
Buy some bots

Projected costs should be around $150 for 1st month which is not much for such a project.

Registered a domain at GoDaddy for that $1 . Already got a problem. I have to wait 60 days before I can move it to Hostgator... GREAT :/

Is there any workaround?

You don't need to move it, all you have to do is change nameservers so you can add it in your hostgator cpanel.

Moving on. I got my domain set up. Tommorow I will be adding all the plugins I will need for my journey.
Some plugins I will use are:
Google Analytics
Verify tools
SNAP - social auto poster
Jetpack (Akismet integrated)
Wordfence Security
Wordpress SEO
WP Super Cache

Also, I will get a premium theme tomorrow and set up my social accounts tomorrow!

Why add WP Super Cache when Wordfence Security has Falcon Engine Caching system
that is way better? And you can add akismet separately so what are you using Jetpack for?

Oh I know about Falcon Engine Caching system and I have to say I just don't like it at all (bad impression and bad reviews). Akismet was integrated with my Jetpack so I continued to use my Akismet key.

A slight update:

Bough a new Wordpress theme, added Privacy policy, About us and Contact us page. I also set up the lay out for my page.

I decided to go with Twitter so next thing I am going to do is get Twitter Dominator bot and make few Twitter accounts.

Expect next update in few days

You're gonna drive traffic from Pinterest? There is gamers? You should think about Facebook as well. Lots of groups and pages.

SLIGHT UPDATE:

Time to raise this thread from the dead. The website is finally live after some time. I installed all the plugins I mentioned above, finally going to sleep after a loooong day of writing articles. Next thing on my to do list is make a logo. I guess I will order it from Fiverr...

Also, I still can't decide on the Twitter software I will use (Followliker or Twidium perhaps?)

Next update will be in few days when I actually get a logo and set up a newsletter !

Time for an update:

In total, I have around cca over 700 followers are people are actually starting to visit my website. I am planning on monetizing it with AdSense too because G2A won't suffice. And having an approved AdSense account is, well, helpful.

Next time I will update I should have few proxies, around 20 accounts and around 5k followers.

So I guess, stay tuned !

Update time:

Not much has happenend. I have a total of 8 twitter accounts (around 1.7k followers in total and growing!). I have to say FL is awesome!

Also I was accepted into G2A affiliate program as their partner so I can have discount on games.

The next thing I should do is most likely open a webshop of sorts, perhaps?

Of course, AdSense will play a major role too. I was reading about AdSense on gaming sites and the CTR and CPC is not that good. But, who cares, its about the journey.

Tried G2A before got around 14k cookies from twitter but it didnt brought any sales.

can you post your FL settings for twitter?
and do you make your own accounts or do you buy them ?
and how much accounts do you use on 1 ip adress?
