Hi dudes, Ive had a couple of my mini miche sites go down lately and was wondering what could be done to get them reincluded in the g0*gle, what would happen if I was to 301 redirect to another URL with similar name ? or should I buy a similar name then stick my old site on it and hope G doent realise / anyone have any ideas for this /?

best regards

Was it a B*A*N*S site Google has been known to sandbox a lot of B*A*N*S sites.

nah these are html sites I created I did some referal spamming with PR St*rm as well as other forms of spamming and all was going fine for a while till I realised Id managed to obtain 1500 links....all too quickly obviously, just wonderd if IC ouold use the same website again with same text, or would google recognise it was the same site and ban me again etc...the sites are reasonably SEO'd so even wihtout spamming they oughta get a few hits etc....

h e l l o ? i s t h e r e a n y b o d y i n t h e r e ?

Not sure what you're talking about. So you have a de-indexed site and you want G to include that again?

I've been wondering the same thing.

Basically you have a site that has been penalized in google for buying links or running these softwares for links. Has anyone ever 301'd the penalized domain to a new domain with the exact site on it and come out of the penalty?

FYI: I've been running millions of urls through PRstorm on several domains and haven't seen much of a difference yet. It might be a little early to really tell (60 days).

My site isn't completely banned. It appears between 40-100 in the google wmt. It used to rank 1-10 on thousands of keywords (long and short).

oh mine been tottaly removed, and just wondered if it was possible to 301 redirect and avoid the penalty or just stick it up on a new URL and submit to G as an original site....would G suss that it had the same text on it ?>

A 301 to a new domain is at best pointless.

If the domain is banned by G then the G bot won't be visiting anyway so won't follow the 301.

If the domain has been peanalised and G bot does visit, then you're just relating something they see as bad to your new domain, so it gets flagged as suspect.

Regardless, it won't get your old domain re-indexed, but it could hurt your new domain. The only way to get a banned domain re-inexed is to beg google via the webmasters console.

Get a new domain and host the same content, change it around a little if you like, if G has de-indexed the original domain then the same content on a new domain isn't duplicate (the old content has gone!) Duplicate content isn't really a very big issue anyway, sites are scraped all the time with litle effect.

Leave the old domain up if you're getting visit to it from Yahoo or elsewhere.

Right, it can hurt the new domain.

Another option is to let the domain name expire and then pick it up again with different WHOIS info. Create a new webmaster tools account and create a new site with it. Not worth it in my opinion, but it could be to you. Google gives reconsideration to new webmasters with old banned domains.

thanks for those words of wisdom dude, Ill try getting a new URL i think and whack my site on it, i think main reason these two site went down is my blatant spammy usage of PR storm, oh ive been using soicial bookmarking just lately and within a month a page got to pagerank 3 I well chuffed:D
