Will g00gle and Yah00 mark you down for black hat?


Also, is there anyway to SEO and rank high for an ecommerce site? I know I can write articles and blog comments, but as far as fresh content I dont think there is much I can do. Thoughts?

Best way to rank for ecommerce is to create a blog and rank the blog, which then links to your ecommerce site. Trying to rank an ecommerce site full of duplicate content and exact clone of 100s or 1000s of other similar ecommerce sites is not recommended.

if your ecommerce site is your own product and the content is fresh and you are using a custom design you can rank it. It will take a little longer but it is possible.

Easier way is like what phpbuilt said build you some blog sites and get them ranked and pass traffic over that way
