Hmm, I use IndexedAPI which is part of seowl, and signups still seem to be working.

you can use a simple python script with several proxies to do the work,
10 proxies could get 10 links checked very 2 mins, that's 300 an hour & 7200 a day +-
newipnow proxies do the work decently and they're pretty cheap, 15 proxies for $9, you can check the thread bellow (not affilated)

While you can do it with a phython why not just to use SCrapebox. SCrapebox with verified google proxies from webshare works nice.
