G wont update my sites index?!

Okay so I've tried EVERYTHING to get my site's index updated.
-submitting video sitemaps
-100s of tweets
-pinging on scrapebox
-indexkings
-10+ pinterest pins
-posting on active forums with sig link
-10+ approved blog comments on high authority blogs

G still won't update my homepage index! my inner pages are all crawled AND indexed, but when I change innerpage content G refuses to update anything as well.

my homepage index still says Index of /. cgi-bin/

It's a PA50+ site

Whenever I ping G with a video sitemap the spiders DO come, I can see them in my stat counter, but they refuse to update their index!

Anyone had a similar problem? Any recommended solution / services that can help?

THANKS it worked like a charm! I initially didn't want to hook up this site with my webmasters but oh well

dang it was going to say Google bot and if its word press they have a plug in that can help to.
